Study information. Eye tracking is a technology used by vision and cognition  researchers to understand attention, reading, and memory. Our goal is to create an eye-tracking model that uses webcams for estimating where someone is looking on their screen.  The purpose of this study is to collect webcam videos of people completing a simple dot clicking task. The videos will be used to train gaze estimation models.

Study restrictions.  This study is only available to the University of Richmond community. The study can only be completed on desktop/laptop devices with a built-in or external webcam (No mobile devices). The camera must be centered on top of the screen you are using to complete the task, so secondary monitors connected to laptops will not work for this task.

Ideal browsers are Firefox or Chrome. Safari will not work for this study.

Task information:  During the task, you will be guided in calibrating your screen size in your browser. You will then complete the 10 minute task.
